Does AI recommend your business?

We ask an assistant with live search the three questions your customers would type, and show you whether it names you, and who it names instead. No account, nothing to install.

The kind of question we ask

  • Where should I go for Botox in downtown Miami?
  • Which med spa near me is best for a first-time filler?
  • Who is the most trusted dentist for veneers in Austin?
  • Best brunch spot in Mile End that takes walk-ins?
  • Which hair salon in my neighbourhood is worth the price?

The three we actually ask are written for your trade and your city from your own listing, not picked from this list.

What the number means

Being named is rarer than being ranked. Where the old local pack gave thirty businesses a shot at a click, three sentences give three, so most owners run this and read a zero. That is the finding, not a failure of the tool, and it is the quietest way to lose business: no bad review, no angry customer, no dip you can point at, just a conversation you were never part of.

The useful half is the second column. The names the assistant reached for instead are your real competitive set in this channel, and it is frequently not the set you assumed.

Questions people ask

Which assistant is actually being asked?

Gemini 2.5 Flash with Google Search grounding, which means the answer is built from live results rather than from training data. It is not ChatGPT, and we will not pretend otherwise. What it measures is whether the open web currently supports naming you, which is the part you can change, and it is the same instrument the paid feature uses.

Why three questions instead of one?

Because one answer is a sample, not a verdict. The same question asked six times names different businesses, so a single miss proves nothing. Three questions written for three different intents is the smallest number that separates "not visible" from "unlucky phrasing". We wrote up why the answer moves in full.

Is anything simulated when the daily allowance runs out?

No. Grounded answers are metered, and when the free allowance for the day is gone the tool says so and shows nothing. Inventing an answer would destroy the only thing this page is for, which is that the assistant was really asked.

What do I do if I am not named?

Being absent is the norm, so start there rather than panicking. The assistants read the open web: your own site first, then listings, then reviews. A business with no indexable page of its own is structurally excluded from the largest bucket, and no amount of reviews fixes that.

Do you keep what I check?

The listing, the questions and the answer, for a day, so a second visitor asking about the same business reads that answer instead of spending another call. No email, no account, and your address is stored only as a hash used to rate-limit.
